More About the Project

The Ontario Conservation Accelerator works with governments, conservation groups, and landowners to increase the connectivity of ecosystems across Ontario. By protecting lands adjacent to parks, conservation reserves, and other protected areas, the OCA is working to safeguard key habitats so that animals can continue to move freely, find food, and better adapt to climate change. This work benefits species like the river otter and helps make sure that even in the face of a changing landscape, animals will have a safe place to call home for years to come.

About River Otters

North American river otters have adapted to live in all sorts of aquatic habitats. They're found in rivers, lakes, and wetlands across Canada and throughout North America, where they live in burrows close to the water. These creatures have streamlined bodies, water-repellent fur, webbed feet, and even third eyelids that help them see underwater.

Got a stuffy

I hope money a lot of money went to the organization because they gave me a tiny stuffy and a certificate and a written note and a poster so hopefully a lot of money went to the organization because I've adopted to a different organization and save a fox and they gave me a way bigger stuffy that even made noises so hopefully a lot of money went into the organization
